William B. Wilson, CAI

William B. Wilson, CAI, commonly known as Bill, is currently a Principal Auctioneer and Principal Broker with William Wilson Auction & Realty.

Holding auctioneer and real estate licenses in Indiana and Illinois, Mr. Wilson specializes in land sales and exchanges. Mr. Wilson has earned the prestigious Certified Auctioneer’s Institute (CAI) designation from the National Auctioneers Association.

In 2005, Mr. Wilson was inducted into the Indiana Auctioneer’s Hall of Fame. The highest honor given to Auctioneers in Indiana, Wilson is among an elite class of Indiana Auctioneers, in the nation’s largest association of Auctioneers.

In addition to land sales and exchanges, he has a concentration in appraisals, representing numerous clients in common valuation scenarios such as Estates, Divorce, and Bankruptcy. His focus market is in Southwestern Indiana, and Southeastern Illinois. Clients include families, professionals, and major institutions.

Mr. Wilson is active in the community, having served on various boards on the local and state level. Currently, he is a member of the Indiana Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame Board; acting Trustee of the Workingmen’s Institute; and a member of the University of Southern Indiana Varsity Club Board of Directors.

Mr. Wilson attended Indiana University at Bloomington.

He currently resides in New Harmony, Indiana with his wife, Pat.
